Whether you enjoy wakeboarding, tubing, water skiing, parasailing, or all of the above, TurboSwing is an exciting new way to experience towed watersports behind outboard powered boats. TurboSwing's patented technology elevates the tow rope above the wake, provides smooth consistent pulls, and can improve towing power up to 20 horsepower!

This innovative system features a stainless steel tow bar with mounting clamps that attach directly to your existing outboard motor bracket, encircling the outboard engine(s). A tow rope can be quickly affixed to a pulley on the tow bar which enables the rope to smoothly travel from side to side resulting in less effort and better performance for those in tow and greater stability and maneuverability of the boat.

TurboSwing is a perfect way to enjoy towed watersports when a wakeboard tower is not an option. It can be mounted to virtually any outboard powered boat - ranging from inflatables, to runabouts, to cabin boats and pontoons. Single and multiple engine tow bars are available.

The TurboSwing tow bar elevates the tow rope on outboard powered boats so that you can enjoy better performance wakeboarding, water skiing, tubing and snorkeling behind the boat. Which tow bar you need depends on the type of mount required, the brand, engine horsepower, and number of engines.

  • Elevates the tow rope to keep it clear of the wake and prop wash
  • Pulley system results in smooth, consistent pulls every time
  • Improves vessel stability and maneuverability over transom mounted tow rings off center
  • Universal motor bracket installation - fits virtually any brand of outboard motor
  • Tow ropes clip quickly and easily to TurboSwing pulley system
  • Can accommodate multiple riders
  • Protects engine from impact
  • Tow bar can be quickly removed
Each TurboSwing tow bar comes with an EZpulley to attach the tow rope. If you intend to pull multiple riders simultaneously, you can order additional attachments under TurboSwing Accessories.

Great way to add a tow bar to a pontoon boat
by Dean from Odessa, Texas on July 16, 2016
If your pontoon boat doesn't have a factory tow bar this is a great way to add one. Worked very nicely

Exactly as advertised
by Devin from Avon Lake, Ohio on August 23, 2015
This product fits and worked exactly as advertised. Installed on Lund with 200hp Yamaha. Have a 9.9.hp kicker mounted on transom next to the main motor. With the kicker on the boat I could not connect to both transom hooks with a standard tow harness. So I was pulling off of a single hook and it was difficult to tow. The turboswing clears the main and the kicker in all positions. Either motor can be raised, lowered, turned and fully functional without removing the turboswing. Have used it to pull 3 people on a large inflatable and no concerns about the strength of it. Raises the tow rope higher than the tow hook mounted on the transom. Glides side to side during turns. Noticed up on plane much easier and running lower rpm for similar speed. I think this is due to the pull point being elevated and less drag with the rope out of the water now. The turboswing has made it easier as it keeps the rope out of the prop area when stopped since connection is behind the motor. Great product and great quality. The price is expensive but it is a toy for a boat so to be expected. Definitely recommend.

Great product and price. I needed a ski tow for my deck boat towers were out of the question. Not only does the Turboswing work great, but it is easy to install. Not to mention that iBoats had the lowest price anywhere on the internet, including eBay. Plus, shipping was super fast. Thank you.

I have a 1995 Sea Nymph GLS175 with Johnson 70hp will this work on my boat?
You will need the XL model. Part number is TSXL.

I have a 1990 Yamaha ETLD 115 HP engine. Would the XL model be the correct size for this older two stroke engine?
You will need the XXL for your model, so the part number is TSXXL.

I have a Slyvan 20 foot 2012 pontoon with a 2012 Mercury 115HP outboard. What is the recommended setup? Do I need to drill extra holes or does it mount to the existing transom bolts?
You need the XL, part number TSXL. No need to drill, mounts to existing motor brackets. Here is instructions: http://www.iboats.com/mall/pdfs/xseries_mounting_intructions_2010_06_30.pdf

I have a 21' Parti Kraft pontoon boat with a 98 115 Johnson, which turboswing should we use for it?
You need the XL, so the part number is TSXL.

I have a 2015 star craft starweld 1800. With a 115 Yamaha and a 9.9 Yamaha kicker. will this clear the motors?
It mounts to existing motor mounts. You will NOT want to get the dual motor TurboSwings. So it will not clear both motors as it needs to mount to existing mounts. Since not all kickers and vessels are the same, manufacturer confirms it is tough to say without mounting one if it will have enough clearance around your primary motor.

Does it work with a Mercury 4cycle 50hp bigfoot?
What's actually recommended is the XL for that: http://www.iboats.com/TurboSwing-XL-30-140-hp/dm/view_id.1096095

I have a 20' trophy with a 2015 4 stroke 150hp merc. Will this work with the new engine?
You need the XXL. Part number TSXXL: http://www.iboats.com/TurboSwing-XXL-100-250-hp/dm/view_id.1096096

I have a 2013 Thunderjet 185 Explorer with 2 motors: F115XA and a T9.9XPB. Will the XXL fit without interfering with the 2nd motor (the T9.9)?
Turbo Swing actually says you should go with the Twin-XL, XXL, or GIANT turbo swing. We do not offer that at this time, but you can contact them for more info.

Does this mount to the motor transom bolts? Do you have any pictures of it mounted?
Well keep in mind this is the EZ pulley and not the turboswing. For the majority of outboards you just use the existing original motor mount bolts and drill one additional hole on each side for the turbo swing (depending on motor). If you would like pictures just contact us at the number at the top of the page.
