I used the pump several times on my cooler with water running from the foucet. It performed well. I do beleive in an emergency the pump would be an assett. Does not compare to an electric pump. I would prefer a self contained electric pump.

The handle separated from the plunger the first time it was tested. I would call it junk, but that would give junk a bad name. It would have been very upsetting, or even disastrous if I had waited to use the pump when I desperately needed it. Someone in the QA department needs to be made aware of this and resolve this with the manufacture: I am sure mine was not an isolated incident.
