The snap that must be installed on the inside of the tender cover comes with a patch that claim to be easily installed and pre-glued. It's not much of either. I'll be surprised if it lasts, given that most of the adhesive, particularly around the snap itself, would not adhere to the inside of the tender cover (which is made by Sharkskin). The backing around the snap would not come off and in trying to remove the backing the sticky surface ended up stuck to itself and it all ended up in the garbage.
