How Much AntiFouling Paint Do I Need?
Determining how much antifouling you will need is fairly simple. You can calculate the area to paint by multiplying the length of your hull (LOA) by the beam and multiply by 0.85 (LOA x B x 0.85 = Area). Then divide the area by the coverage of the paint you've chosen to determine how many quarts per coat you will need.
Refer to the reference chart below for another quick estimate of how much antifouling paint is required for two coats.

Full StarFull StarFull StarEmpty StarEmpty StarBad Aerosol can.
by John from Deale, Maryland on August 24, 2015
I have used this product several times in years past. One of the two aerosol cans I received from you leaked paint from under the nozzle. This was after I had thoroughly shaken that can as per the instructions. I tried to clean the nozzle by soaking it in paint thinner, but to no avail. I had to throw that away. The second spray can worked as advertised. Since this is pretty expensive paint, I would like some compensation for that defective spray can. Respectfully John Peters

Full StarFull StarEmpty StarEmpty StarEmpty StarBe careful with the color "White"
by Michael from Macomb, Michigan on June 25, 2015
The problem I have is with the color. Listed as white but more of a "Shark White" or grayish white. It did not match my Interlux "Shell White" bottom paint. I realize there are different shades of white but when the same company sells other paint with different shades of white you would expect they would give it a name to match their other white colors. Be careful!
