Doesn't Match Female End
by Stephen from Gloucester, Massachusetts on July 06, 2013
Unfortunately, the piece ended up being useless because it doesn't mate with the female end sold by Moeller. Ended up at the Yamaha dealer, where they had both Moeller and one original yamaha fitting. Only the Yamaha fitting worked on the engine and Moeller Tank Connector.-they only had one, so had to use a hose barb at the tank.

oops
by David from Louisville, Kentucky on June 25, 2011
the fitting and the hose i ordered and used are not a good fit, I can see brass when fitting and gas line are joined. I have experienced a gas leek either from the moeller tank and or fitting very disappointed in the product.

gass connector
by Arthur from Bonneau, South Carolina on May 14, 2013
the product did not fit my 1999 115 hp yamaha engine nor did the 033482 additional part that i ordered. I BOATS COULD NOT PROVIDE ME A REPLACEMENT PART FOR THE YAMAHA PART #6E5-24305-06 THAT I ENDED UP OBTAINING FROM A YAMAHA DEALER. DEALING WITH IBOATS COST ME TIME (TWO ORDERS TRYING TO GET THE RIGHT PART) AND FRUSTRATION.

A true piece of JUNK
by Stephen from Gloucester, Massachusetts on July 06, 2013
The female fuel line connector fit neither the Moeller tank fitting nor the Yamaha engine fitting. Went to the Yamaha dealer , who also sells the Moeller fittings, and we were unable to get the Moeller female fittings from iBaot or in the shop to fit either the tank fittings or the outboard fitting. In short, the Moeller female fitting simply is incorrectly made. Fortunately the dealer had on OEM end fitting, so I was able to use my external tank by using a hose barb and the OEM fitting.

dosen't fit
by Gordon from San Luis Obispo, California on June 05, 2011
The fitting itself is ok. The one at the tank worked, but the one at the engine would not fit. I have an 2007 Yamaha F15CESH 15 hp 4-stroke. Apparently Yamaha had a separate one for the tank and one for the motor. My old ones have arrows indicating direction of flow and one will only fit at the tank and the other at the motor. Perhaps these fittings would work on older engines.

Q:
I have a 35 horsepower 1986 Mercury 2 cylinder engine will this male fuel line connector hit my application?
A:
This is for a Yamaha. For pre-1998 Mercury engines they are typically like part number 033418-10. We may be able to look up fuel tank components by your serial number if needed.

Q:
I have an OEM Yamaha 3 gal tank, about 1.5 years old. Beucase of buildup in pressure, it leaks through the tank coonnector when I remove the fuel hose. Coould it be defective. Would this part possibly cure problem?
A:
Yes, this part can definitely help out under these circumstances. However, it may be a temporary solution.

Q:
Will this fit a 1978 yamaha 150hp 2 stroke?
A:
We do not have original information that extends back that far. You will need to check with a local Yamaha dealer on a fuel line for that old of a motor.

Q:
I have a 1988 yahama 25 HP motor and I got another new gas tank that needs a male end connector on it so I can just unplug one and go to the next if needed, will this work? I see where its a 1/4 " NPTbrass fitting, are all yahama motors the same size?
A:
The tank adapter is the same regardless of the hose size from Moeller. You will just need to make sure your tank accepts the 1/4" NPT and if it does this will install into the tank.

Q:
WHAT FEMAIL CONNECTOR FITS?
A:
The female connector is 033481-10.

Q:
Hi, have already bought a couple wrong connectors for my 94 Yamaha 25 hp. Can you tell me if this is the correct one?
A:
No this is not listed for your motor. You will need to contact Yamaha for the correct replacement.

Q:
What is 3/8" What exactly am I measuring? Can you send me the over dimensions of the end or head of this adapter please "w x h x d" ....Will this connector fit a 1993 Yamaha 15 HP motor? It looks exactly like the one I have that broke...(bearings, spring, and seal - popped out)?
A:
3/8 is for the fuel line. There are no overall dimensions for the fuel connector. This is the one called for your engine though as the OEM number cross references.

Q:
Size for 90 hp ?
A:
You will need to know size. This is 5/16" barb.

Q:
Is it a 5/16 size?
A:
No. This is a 3/8 inch size.

Q:
Will this fit Yamha 1997 90TLRV?
A:
No this will not fit your application. We do not list the fuel connector for your motor.

Q:
Will this fit 6y1-24305-06-00?
A:
Yes, this cross references to that Yamaha number.
