I am an avid boat owner and have owned over a dozen different power boats in my life. I bought one of these boats because its supposed to be great and comes highly reviewed, however once I got it I realized that this was the worst purchase I have ever made. The jet drive starts moving the boat the moment you turn the key with no actual neutral position and then it gets worse. This boat cant corner well has a very air-entrained wake that is horrible for water sports, and is lacking in having enough weight in the water to handle a heavier person pulling while skiing. When you get in a cross wind the boat is unable to turn or handle in the water. Waves crash over the front and drench all the passengers when there are just a few little waves. Slow speed there is no control at all... I went out and added an aftermarket steering kit made by cobra which has been a substantial improvement however it still is un-able to handle water that a 21 foot sterndrive would handle with ease... Buy a real boat and leave the jet boats to die like they should.
