For aluminum surfaces above or below the waterline use our Zinc Chromate. This powerful primer etches into aluminum, forming a strong surface/primer union that is resistant to corrosion. For steel and iron surfaces, especially welded joints, above or below the water line, use our Zinc Cold Galvanizing or Zinc Phosphate. This corrosive barrier contains a high percentage (95%) of zinc for maximum resistance against solvents and abrasions. 12 oz.

Shake REGUARLY. Clean spray tip REGUARLY. Sprays thin so multiple coats needed. Remember that when ordering amount.

This primer is excellent for topcoat adhesion. Used correctly, it bonds well to the cast surface and allows the colored topcoat to bond just as well. 2 light coats on the clean bare surface will suffice.
