1. Using the triangles shown below (See Fig 2), find the footprint name with its associated measurement triangle, that match the specific curved glass windshield footprint you chose for your boat. You now need to draw and then cut out a template on a piece of cardboard using the measurements from the triangle you selected below. This template will show you where the two support bars will attach to the new windshield once it is installed.

2. Place corner “A” (of the cardboard triangle you cut out) on your boat deck at the spot where you will be attaching the new windshield (the windshield end that touches the walk-through door) to the boat deck, and then position corner “B” towards the rear of the boat. Keep the bottom of the triangle at the same height as the height of the deck where you will be mounting the new windshield . (See fig 1)
3. Corner “C” (of the cardboard triangle you cut out) now shows the position where the support bar will be attached to the new windshield. Measure from this point “C” to where you will want to attach the support bars to the deck, and measure that length.
