This 2001 Pompano 21 is a fine example of the boats built by Atlas Boats Works for over 20 years and purchased by Admiralty Sales & Services from the original owner. The diesel engine has 250 hrs and maintenance records are available to show how the original owner has taken extreme care to keep this boat in top condition. The hull, top-sides and deck are in great shape. Interior and exterior sunbrella cushion covers are extra clean. This Pompano shows as close to new as possible.
The Pompano 21 is a traditional style lobster boat powered by the proven 75hp Yanmar diesel inboard. The semi-displacement hull shape has a reputation for maintaining good speed in rough water and providing a soft ride for all on board. The full length keel and skeg protects the prop and rudder during grounding and affords the owner peace of mind seldom found in power boats. There is standing headroom at the helm station and the aft deck is self-bailing. The forward cuddy cabin provides sleeping for two, a molded galley unit, and a porti-potti. Generous storage areas below the berths and a rope locker forward.
Solid fiberglass construction using premium gel-coats and resins with state-of-the-art non-woven bi-axial fiberglass fabrics. Hardware is stainless and bronze. Much attention is given to detail and access to engine and running gear.
