“Baby Grand", a classic Grand Banks in excellent condition as she has just gone through a top to bottom, inside and out, cosmetic upgrade. She has had a complete makeover from structure soundness with requested repairs, engine and generator (NEW in 2005) maintenance, rot replaced, primed and painted. New batteries and many items replaced as owner wanted none of the old appliances. All teak inside was removed and refinished. All painted items inside were removed and repainted. Complete bottom repairs and new bottom paint. All canvas and isinglass was replaced with new. Complete interior redone, repainted or refinished from the headliner to all cushions and all window blinds down to the refinished floor. All new Garmin electronics were installed with an all new sound system. AC was new in 2005. "Baby Grand" exudes classic lines with current day amenities. She is solid, best condition and now has the best options. Study the list above to see just what was completed the spring of 2007. This boat is truly turn-key if there ever was one. Current owners have used her over the summer but have decided they want to fish more and further out in the Gulf. Sleeps 2 in Vee berth, 1 in salon upper/lower bunk, 2 in settee. Upholstery has been completely redone; the teak sole was refinished and is beautiful, interior finish and paint completely redone to "show" specifications. The exterior shows boat house kept appearance and is currently under cover. The bridge also shows as new.
The interior arrangement is a forepeak rope locker followed by a bow cabin with a V - berth and a 19” square escape hatch. The head and shower is to starboard. Up four steps is the main salon. The helm is to starboard with three windshields and the center pushes open for the breeze. The galley is to port and then a settee. An “L” shaped settee lounge and folding table is to starboard. Soles are teak Parquet and cabinets and trim are teak.
