SALT LAKE CITY - iboats.com, a network of boating-related e-commerce Web sites, recently launched a redesigned home page "to allow consumers to more easily find the many services iboats offers," the company said in a statement yesterday.
Bruno Vassel III, president & CEO of iboats, inc., said the new home page combines all of the areas into three main sections, boat buying, boat accessories, and boating community.
"The new design not only organizes our content, but it also better displays what iboats.com has to offer to boaters," Vassel III said.
Some of the new features include:
Quick links to buying or selling a boat, to manufacturers, and to dealers; Boating services links to boat loans, marinas, and marine insurance; Dealer services to give boat buyers quick access to finding a dealer or helping dealers set up a Web site.
A revised category structure to help customers more rapidly find boat parts or accessories; Quick links to boat covers, bimini tops, props, and boat motors.
Upgraded message boards to allow easier viewing of popular marine topics; Links to iboats' boating directory.
The home page will continue to be updated over the coming months as the header and navigation at the top of the page will also be replaced with a new one, the company said.
