DIESEL ENGINE RUNS GREAT! YOU MUST SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT! INTERIOR IS IMMACULATE. EXTERIOR HARDWOOD ON HOUSE LOOKS LIKE DAY ONE ...
ASKING PRICE IS NON-NEGOTIABLE! IF THIS BOAT WAS SITTING IN TAHOE AND IT WAS TWO YEARS AGO YOU'D HAVE GUYS WAITING IN LINE TO BUY THIS AT $80,000. WE STARTED IT AT $50,000 THINKING IT WOULD SELL IMMEDIATELY. APPARENTLY NO ONE HAS ANY MONEY TO SPEND. - SELLER JUST WANTS IT GONE - HE LIVES OUT OF STATE AND HAS ONLY BEEN ABLE TO USE IT A FEW TIMES SINCE TRUCKING IT UP TO PORTLAND FROM CALIFORNIA 2 YEARS AGO. CRAZY DEAL - NOW HALF PRICE - $20,000 FIRM Abslolutely unbelievable deal. This boat could fetch up to $80,000 in a good market.
Designed by famed naval architect Ted Geary this boat was built by the Lake Union Dry Dock and Machine Works of Seattle, WA, in 1930. The Lake Union Co. built many of the most respected Classic Yachts produced on the West Coast before the 2nd World War. This beautiful 45 footer is an outstanding example of the breed. She was originally built and launched at their famous yard on the shores of Seattle’s Lake Union. The Lake Unions were built by the outstanding Pacific Northwest craftsmen of the period to withstand the rigors of the northern waters and out of woods so fine that they are simply no longer available; in general, these boats tend to be more robust, and of heavier scantlings than most classics. It is not known how many 45 foot bridge deck cruisers were built by the Lake Union Dry Dock Company, but only five are known to exist today, including two built in 1928 and two others built in 1929. This vessel is the only 1930 model known to be still in existence. We consider her to be an exceptional buy in an Antique Cruiser and a highly desirable yacht, as well as being a Pacific Northwest and West Coast Treasure.
