She's been a fixture down at the marina for a few seasons and the owner has decided to sell. This is a light project boat - mainly cosmetics. Topside gelcoat is in need of sand and paint refinish. This boat needs a lot of TLC including new running rigging and interior cleaning. We have priced the boat at $10,000 blowout for immediate liquidation. Hard to find a running diesel powered sailboat with all the sails and gear like this for under $15K. Nice find. Really rare boat.

Rumored to of had a fresh bottom paint in the last year or so..

Built in Holland by Conyplex, she is a quality classic sailboat; solid fiberglass deck and hull with a beautiful African Mahogany interior. The cabin, traditional in layout, is bright and has 6'4" headroom.

Contest has earned the reputation as a sturdy, well built yacht, with excellent sea-keeping qualities. The wide side decks, open foredeck and high molded bulwarks combined with double lifelines all provide a reassuring feeling of security especially in nasty weather.

She sleeps a total for five. V-berth in forward cabin sleeps two. In main cabin port dinette converts to double. There is a settee berth opposite the dinette and a quarter-berth aft to starboard. Interior joiner work is gloss varnished mahogany in excellent condition. The Nav Station is aft to starboard. The Galley is aft to port and has a two burner gas stove, a large stainless steel lined, insulated ice box and stainless steel sink. The head is to port, forward of the main cabin with sink, toilet and holding tank. There are extensive cabinets, port and starboard, in the main cabin plus hanging locker opposite the head with more storage drawers.
