Extras More Information The Sea Ray 280 Sundancer was introduced in 1989 as a replacement for the original and very popular 270 Sundancer. A good looking cruiser with her molded pulpit, curved windshield, and integrated swim platform, the 280 rides on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a flared bow and relatively wide 10-foot, 6-inch beam. Not surprisingly, there's a lot of room below, and the Sundancer's wide-open cabin layout delivers comfortable overnight accommodations for as many as six adults. The mid-cabin floor plan is arranged with V-berths forward and a wide double berth in the aft stateroom. Headroom in the salon is a good 6 feet, 2 inches. Topside, visibility from the elevated double helm seat is very good. Note that the companionway is to port. An aft-facing seat and transom settee provides plenty of guest seating in the cockpit.
