Looking for a great value in a fiberglass single diesel engine trawler? This double cabin Marine Trader 36 has a solid hull with walk around decks and teak interior, an economical six cylinder Lehman diesel (low hours), bow thruster and autopilot. In this layout, the galley is up and opposite the salon dinette. There are two staterooms, each with its own head, and upper and lower helms.
Straight up, this is a project boat. Water has leaked through the cabin windows and effected some interior paneling and cabinetry. Forward cabin features a v-berth with drawer and bin storage below. Enclosed head with vanity and shower next aft to port and large hanging locker opposite to starboard. Three steps up to the main salon. Inside helm station is forward to starboard with sliding exterior door. Galley next aft to starboard with the L-shaped dinette opposite to port. Down three steps to the aft master cabin which features double berth and an ensuite head with tub/shower to starboard and a handsome teak desk/bureau/storage unit to port. Drawer and locker storage aft. A companionway with sliding teak hatch and hinged doors provides direct access to the aft after deck. The original teak decks have been removed and the decks sealed! The mains decks are awaiting a coat of non-skid paint which offers a high level of safety, especially when wet. Two helm stations with mechanical steering systems. Teak swim platform, teak hand rails with stainless stanchions, bow pulpit and forward Sampson post. Mast with single spreader and deck light mounted on aft cabin top. Stainless steel bow rail, stainless steel railings on fly bridge. Teak butterfly hatch above forward cabin.
