well it is forest fire season again and the two valley's we look into are plugged with smoke.
but with smoke in the air the temp is low, so far.

We have fire going here on Virginia's Eastern Shore. It's only about 3 miles from us but the FD says it's under control. I hope so.

thunder showers tonight.....i hope the wind will blow the smoke away.

i dont know where you are getting the smoke from. is it kamloops? or is it coming from the south? i cant see to peachland today. yesterday it was clear and the weather channel isnt saying where the smoke is coming from.

lol....iboater robj is coming for a holiday...i just told him that the air was clear....i jumped the gun. last year he was here and a fire was raging just above his resort. kinda made it tough to breath, he was looking forward to cleaner air this year.

for those that don't know, we live in a very large forest fire area. our entire province is heavily forested (B.C where the Olympics just were)
it gets really hot here and at times it seems that the entire province (twice the size of Texas) is burning

Have a look at the wildfires to note in the kamloops fire district, I think we are getting smoke from the fires to the west, but there are two big fires south of us at big white (joe rich) and on the Washington, BC border at or near nighthawk.

Well we lost the first water bomber yesterday in the Fraser canyon, north of Boston bar.
The two crew members have not been located yet, keeping fingers crossed.

I live in Kamloops and it's been pretty terrible here the last couple of weeks. Everything and everyone smells like a camp fire.
