    '84, 50hp chrysler lost reverse

    I inherited this old boat and motor. We have had it out only a few times this year. It has worked well every time. This past weekend, reverse would not work. It goes forward when you shift it into forward or reverse. Does anyone know if this is a simple fix or have I broke something?

    I have an '88, 9.9 hp gamefisher that will not stay in forward gear. It runs great if I hold slight pressure on the shift lever. Is there an adjustment that will help hold this in gear?
