Similar problem to surfrider123's with the 6hp. I need to confirm that the lower unit on my 1981 4.5 Evinrude is not being held in place by anything other than the three bolts. I get 1/2 inch of drop, but then no more. Schematics don't show any other attachment points. Am I missing something...
I have a 1991 Volvo 280DP outdrive that has leaking tilt/trim cylinders. Is there any way to remove them without removing the outdrive like the manual shows??
