The system is open (raw).
The engine is a 4.3l V6 mercruiser (petrol - fuel injection) on a a 1991 Searay 290DA.
There are 2 engines but assume the answer will be the same for both.

I have been trying to winterise my 4.3 v6 Mercruiser engine.
This one has a drain tap to open and a couple of plugs to remove.
However, when draining the water, it seems to go on forever. I was draining for at least 25 mins with a good flow.
Did this last year but the boat...
