8hp starts but runs only at high rpms

You must disassemble the carb before soaking. After, blow out all passages. You may have a sticky float valve.

    90hp Nissian won't open up

Several spots, especially in the low speed circuits.

    90hp Nissian won't open up

Year of manufacture is irrelevant. You did not say, but you likely have an M90A. Clean the carbs with a proper overnight soak and try again.

8hp starts but runs only at high rpms

You can also swap to the 9.8 carb if yours won't come clean. Then you add power as well.

    Cutting out and stalling

Temps should be about 150F. Did you reset TPS initial setting per the FSM? What are the fuel and air pressures?

    Tahatsu 30hp ptt solinoid replacement

What is your actual model? 2 stk? 4 stk? Carbed or EFI? If 4-stk, the solenoids are on the front of the powerhead, and replacement is very straightforward. I would actually test the solenoids and verify wiring before replacing them willy nilly. Full info is in the Factory service manual.

Also check fuel and air pressures at the rail.

Check in the owners manual available at tohatsu.com. Sounds like you are only going to shallow water position.

2006 Honda 9.9 Stalls in Gear in Idle

Right. In my heated ultrasonic, I use regular carb dip (in 1 gal cans at the auto parts house), then after at least 6 hours, I blow out with generic carb spray. Works great.

    2007 9.9 Tohatsu/Mercury. No sparks.

Merc 9.9 4-stroke may actually be a Tohatsu 9.8. If so, secondary to ground on the ign coil will be almost infinite. Also if a Tohatsu 9.8, you can test the CD box too.

Tohatsu m25c3 2-stroke compression high on one cylinder

If it's running OK, I would definitely do a decarbon spray through the carburetor and then re-check compression.

    Cutting out and stalling

I would verify the temperature is OK using an IR thermometer. Also verify battery is in great shape. You need a bigger battery than you may think. Then reset fault codes and reset TPS initial setting.

    2002 Tohatsu 25hp 2 stroke won’t start

Assuming this is an M25C3. You did not mention model. Year is irrelevant. Did you do the ohm meter checks on the exciter, CD, and siamese coil? The exciter has an MSRP under $80...
