    fuel injectors cleaning

    Is it safe to soak and totally submerge the fuel injectors in a bath of fuel injector cleaner? I am concerned about the wire terminals and injector coil. A better question might be can the injectors be cleaned without sending them to a shop.

    Shift Bracket on 2002 115 Mercury EFI

    This is a follow up post I had earlier about the neutral safety switch. I am looking at the manual and the switch is on the shift bracket in the motor. I can not find a replacement looking on line. Can anyone tell me the part number or what the description of the switch is? Thanks.

    Mil question

    I have a 2002 mercury 115 4 stroke EFI. I connected a malfunction indicator light to the motor. It found that the shift switch was bad (I have another post about trying to find a new one). I jumped the switch out to clear the code. Now the light comes on for about 4 sec. then goes off...

    Neutral switch for 2002 115 EFI

    What I assume is the neutral safety switch is bad in my 2002 Mercury 4 stroke 115 EFI. The switch is in the motor and contacts the shift mechinism. Two questions is this called the neutral safety switch? Where can I get a new one. I can not find a part number for it.
