    Right amount of water coming from outboard engine ?

    1988 Evinrude 28hp 1. should water be coming out that hole on the back of the shaft? 2. that seem like enough water for idle when just started ? or should I let it warm up and maybe the thermostat will open and that will be a jet ?

    remove gear box on 1988 Evinrude 28 hp E28ESLCCR dont see shift rod connector

    So I looked at the diagram.. watched a couple of videos and from what I can tell I should be able to either detach the gearbox from the bottom the extender or the extender. Then pull a part a bit and find the shift rod connector... but... I dont see it.. I just see the rod.. so do I need to...

    oil filter for Mercruiser 4.3L SN 37594

    so I look on my boat now and it has a filter on it now that doesnt seem to exist.. its a purolator ML 20713, but when I google it, doesnt seem to think it exists.. so I guess I'll replace it.. but not sure what to replace it with.. I see lots of questions for oil filters and people answering...
