    I don’t know what happened here with the quoting of both you guys but it happened lol. That prop was definitely turning inside the bucket. I don’t see why it wouldn’t have been out in the water.

    What and where might that be? Pardon my ignorance on outboards but I what could be wrong with the shear pin that would cause this to happen

    The prop was definitely turning. Don’t make me second guess myself now lol but I’m 99.9 percent sure they were.

    So ethanol being in the fuel likely won’t damage anything in these older outboards? I saw in that thread that 87 octane is okay but nothing about it being ethanol free.
