    Yeah, I misread the post. The carrier does come out without damaging the bearings. Spray plenty of knocker loose in there to help loosen corrosion. I've had two over the years that broke removing them. Did several hundred of them though. A little heat on the case don't hurt either.

    What size is the wiring from the battery to the switch/trolling motor? Undersized wiring will wreck things rather quickly.
