    Ok its a 1977 the model number tells us that. Find a power head number and that tells you what unit you have. Should be a 817 power head. Look at this https://www.discount-marine-parts.com/ob_gamefisher.html. 217 gamefishers were Eska 225 were Force.

    Buddy called me. Has a 9.9 that pee's water really good at idle but when you throttle it up it quits. Said he bought a 150 complete kit with everything and installed it and the same thing. Not on muffs but in a tank. Took it to the river and the same thing. Any ideas.TIA

    yes and the cdi on the other bank has been replaced I see.

    meter set at 2k ohms I get 0 on the primary on both and .015 and .014 on second.

    87 J90TLCUR lost spark to left side plugs. I doubt both coils went bad leaning towards the CDI. Gonna ohm test the coils. Any other thoughts? Fixing for a friend
