    Yes. we beach on the Mississippi all the time, and our keel guard has held up really well for many years. Prep is very important, as is following the directions explicitly. But it really sticks well if you do that.

    If you find any little black rubber bits/crumbs in the bilge, that would seal it as the coupler.

    I used both (milled and cut-up CSM) and I found the milled to be a lot easier to work with. I had a decent amount of clumping with the CSM bits.

    Well worth it to buy the service manuals for the drive and motor. They'll save you a ton of money in the long run, if you do some/all of your own work and maintenance.

    Many of us purchased supplies from U.S. Composites. You have to pay shipping and (depending on what your order) hazmat fees, but the prices still end up being competitive. And you know you're getting fresh product.

    If they provide an opt-out for Sidewalk but then enable it anyway, that would be a huge PR nightmare for them. I'm sure CNET or one of the tech review sites will be testing that the opt-out works.

    Epoxy will be the most expensive, polyester will be the least expensive. Your boat was probably built with polyester, so no harm in using that. If you do use epoxy, you don't need 1708. You can use it, but it has CSM stitched to one side (opposite the fabric side) and it will just suck up more...

    That rotted wood looks VERY suspicious to me... I cannot imagine replacing a transom and leaving behind wood from the removal. I personally would be drilling some test holes in the stringers to check for rot.

    Mine started chine walking about 56 or 57 mph. I don't want to experience that again! The SmartTabs completely stopped that from happening. Hydraulic tabs are cool, but seems like a bit overkill for an 18' Tracker Targa, especially if he's just looking to get on plane quicker.

    Looking to add a drain plug to a jon boat

    Door latch broke

    I needed one for my walk-thru windshield. I never found any on iboats. If you google 'boat window latch' or something similar you'll get a bunch of hits. I think the ones I bought were Sea-Dog brand. I found them on Amazon.
