I have a 97 DT200 on a 22' center console. Purchased new in 99. Approx. 450 hrs. Dropped a piston last March and have been waiting for parts since that time. The top of the piston was burned to the top ring. Boat has never overreved or overheated. No warnings. Pampered. The cause is suspected...
