Alpha one, Gen 1 trim wire retainer bolts?

If it had two bolts, it's wise to put both back in. I know how frustrated you can get doing that job. I have a box of sacrifical tools that I heat, bend, configure to get at those hard to get at places.

    Confused and frustrated

Sounds like you have never had a boat of this caliber. I think you need to keep asking questions here, and talk to a known professional in your area and get some knowledge on how this all works. Anyone can turn the key, but what happens in the bilge/motor/under the hood area they have no idea.

    Connect boat to house line

I am a professional boat electrician. I've had all the Abyc classes and have been wiring on boats for many years. if you haven't been or seen what can happen if someone screws up wiring, then you would know that swimming in a marina can and will get you killed. The water disperses the current...

Do you have a dual helm? If you do you have to get the right temp sensor for it, same as if you have a single helm. The ohm ratings are different for each.

    Deckliner VIP bilge pump?

If it's under the motor, it may have to be abandoned. you can attach a new one to an alunimum flat bar and slide it down there in it's place. If it gives issue, just slide it out. I usually fix the end sticking out to the stringer with ss screws.

    Connect boat to house line

Yup my house has that issue. Things work fine but sometimes not. I re-wired them correctly. On a boat it's for safety, if it's wired wrong and not seen it can electrocute someone who falls in the water.

    Connect boat to house line

I think it's the panel in the boat? They have a reverse polarity light on the panel. Very possible the outlet in the house is wired incorrectly.

    470 front pully removal

i should have been more specific. What the guy wants to do is replace the water pump. So I'd imagine the damper has to come off.

    470 front pully removal

Ok, good. All the advice is taken as i haven't had to pull one off of one of these as of yet. I was sent the picture, and asked how to get it off, and was told it didn't have holes in the damper for pulling. I guessed the pully was attached with bolts but was told otherwise. Reguardless, I have...
