    Yes. The interrupt switch is not powered, it grounds when it closes and is hooked to the negative side of the coil

    That's all I can think of. Some applications have shims behind the pump which control the lever travel, not sure in your application.     Yes, if that's leaking though your shift shaft cavity will be a mess. #9 and 4 are sold together now, you need to press it in. Exhaust bellows leak wouldn't cause an issue.
