    There is no coil pack on your engine, just a traditional coil. Is the starter turning? Do you have 12v to the coil pos when cranking?

    Replace the filter again and check its contents this time, and/or run off an external tank like Kenny suggested. The oil level was concerning if it was rising (suggesting water getting into the crank case). Synthetic vs dino oil isn't your problem.

    No fuel pressure connection, you'll have to cobble something into the existing lines. Did you *check* the fuel filter contents? Looking for water and crud.     This happened to me *twice* on my engine. Both times the chinesium pipe nipple I used on the sender sheared at the block. I got lucky, my oil pressure switch saved me by cutting the fuel the first time, second time I noticed the pressure drop before that.

    I ran into the same issue. Apparently there were 2 different styles of transom plate, one of which doesn't line up with your y pipe. Merc mixed both of them for a while, so they thought it was ok to run with only 3 bolts. A few guys on here did as well with no problems. I also did it.
