    Fuel pressure dropping.

He said the vent lines and fuel pump have both been replaced. You should try running off a Jerry can, maybe get a cheap electric pump for testing purposes to narrow things down

    Electric fuel pump install.

Doesn't matter. I was able to find a location that let me reuse the hard line to the carb after cutting/flaring one end. If you're using flexible line that gives you unlimited options

    Hydrolocked in the parkinglot

When it's in forward, does the shaft point straight ahead? Normal behavior for the drive to pop out of gear without a load on it. If you put some pressure on the prop while you turn the shaft it should stay in gear. @alldodge @achris , how could that shift shaft get off a tooth? Looks like a...

Engine starts to sputter/breakup/lose power after warm 3.0 ‘98

Possible, the timing light on the coil wire eliminates an ignition problem up until that point

    Fuel pressure dropping.

Assuming you've checked the filter before changing it and didn't see anything? Problem was there prior to replacing the pump? Does the problem start right when the pressure drops, or a bit after? Is the pump still running during the episodes (wondering if you're having an electrical issue)?

Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 1 Project

You don't need to worry about that. Personally I wouldn't mess with it until I needed to. Might replace it at that time. It isn't affecting anything.

    Two year old fuel

The MMO won't do anything to renew the gas. Even without varnish, it will still run like crap (if at all) if all the volatile HCs have evaporated.

    Strange noise Mercrusier

See post #2. Pull the drive and see if the noise goes away. I'm betting you'll find water in the bellows...

NEED HELP QUICK PLS: Replacement Engine choices for 350 MPI

Just so this doesn't get lost, op should seriously inspect this boat to make sure it's structurally sound before spending money on it. Neglected, then neglected again uncovered for years--op needs to thoroughly check his stringers and transom

Engine starts to sputter/breakup/lose power after warm 3.0 ‘98

Plugged anti siphon valve is always a suspect, try removing your gas cap. I'd check fuel pressure next. Might also want to try putting a timing light on your coil wire to make sure you're not missing.

Gimbal bearing and/or ujoints. Time to pull the drive (should be yearly maintenance, I'm assuming you didn't pull it at the end of the season...)

New to me 2015 350 mag, any more maintenance items?

Fuel filter, grease anything that needs greasing, check the manual for maintenance list, and do all that.

1994 4.3 Mercruiser fuel pump priming issue

Glad it's running. What exactly do you mean by "prime"? If the pump is running when the ignition is on and the motor isn't running, that's not correct and is a safety issue.

1994 4.3 Mercruiser fuel pump priming issue

Yeah, that's the main switched power from the ignition. It should also go to your choke (if electric) and the positive side of your coil. If you're not getting power to the op switch when the ignition switched on, the pump will only run during cranking.

How to tell what carb I need?!?

That carb looks like it's open. So that msd isn't hooked to anything? I don't think that's marine rated. Where does the negative wire off the coil go? One should be your tach, one may be to your shift interrupt switch, and one should be to whatever is controlling your ignition. If it goes...

1994 4.3 Mercruiser fuel pump priming issue

Sounds like it might have been miswired. Are you getting 12v to the switch with the ignition on? If the pump is getting 12v while cranking (and it runs), and you're getting 12v switched power to the op switch, then either the switch is faulty or you have the wires on the wrong terminals.
