    The pedal oldies were very tiring. You were completely in the control of wind direction & wind speed. You had to have stabile weather. AND a power boat to climb aboard as conditions went bad. 1 very tiring cruise was usually enough.

    Plug wires might need replacement ? Those carbs are over due for a correct amount of Sea Foam into the next tank full. Find a accurate place that states the correct sparkplug # for the engine. Or call NGK for the correct number to use.

    Those plugs say the engine is in deep trouble and need to be changed with correct plug gap. What brand of oil are you using ? Is it rated for water-cooled engines ? 50 to 1 is a safe ratio with modern oils.

    Maybe do a checkout out how correctly each pulley and it's bracket are installed. Do 1 at a time. Clean bracket and surfaces. Check each bearing & pulley for wobble. Parts might not even be correct. Happens. I use a 3' Straight Edge when doing a job like this. Helps find bad parts quickly.

    If it is that common ? I would put duct tape over all engine openings that wasps can get into and build nests. Dirt can do a real rubbing job on cylinder walls. You could do a simple compression check if the damage is too great.

    Pipe fitting threads could be SAE American straight or( tapered ) or even metric. Happens

    Your battery is probably run down because of......NOT ENOUGH .... running the boat in real water. Racerone load test will probably cost you a new battery. Really rundown batteries are are a pain to correctly recharge. Can you bring the boat and car next to each other ? Jumper the batteries...

    A overheated motor cooling system can get a very rough idle and running range. A Harbor Freight Temperature Gun with the red dot reading point would help you find hot places in degrees F.

    If you use TEFLON TAPE ? It should only be applied on the pipe threads in the correct direction. Or you can apply Plumbers Pipe Dope. The dope is only brushed onto the MALE threads.     Is there a large fuel filter somewhere ? That was replaced ? It can take a LOT of starter cranking to refill it and the line to the carburetor.

    Sea Foam is a forever reliable way of cleaning fuel line systems. With NO risk of damage to any of your parts. How many so called injector places can claim that. Do they actually clean your injectors ? Or more likely give you someone else's ?

    Solar panel wiring questions

    A separate Photo Cell panel for each battery is most efficient and safer. Then recharging is faster. A correct sized fuse or circuit breaker is required for each Photo Cell. Or a small quiet motor generator can be rigged up if you want / need every day, fully charged batteries.
