    I replaced the votage regulator on a 1986 RX4 last year. The tach started working and the battery stayed charged most of the time. Someone tolded me there were a regulator and a rectifier on the 1986 150. If this is right where is the rectifier located on the motor?

    When is gas too old?

    I have two tanks on my Ranger. Both tanks were filled the middle of June. We used one tank as a reserve when the the primary tank ran dry. The reserve tank is about 1/2 full. Should I drain the reserve tank or just add gas with seafoam?

    alarm

    I have replaced the water plump and thermostat last May. Everything was running good. Today we were running about 1200 RPMs. When I thottled up to 3000 RPMs the overheat alarm went off. After I went back to 1000 RPMs the alarm stopped. This continued the rest of the day. Any ideas?
