    Aw man ,thats a shame ....its all about technique . To be fair the fresh water fish we have here are not great eating , apart from Flounders but they mostly hang out in estuaries so they can go either way. I smoke the odd trout but mostly I either give them away or put them back. 😁

    Yeah , you gotta be smart about it coz some of it is crap but if you are ....say going to cut and weld a spanner for one awkward access job then why chop up a snap on when the chinese one will do the job .....or bashing one size down socket over a munted bolt head .

    I doubt it ,probly have to replace main jets . Get yourself a workshop manual and get into a jet ski web site . I would also be using high octane gas ....at least untill your happy that fueling is ok

    I would say a tad lean but its hard to tell from pix . They need to be a light tan (peanut butter ) colour and you need to look right up inside where the insulator contacts the metal body of the plug. . Does it still have the standard air box/filter ? After market performance filter assemblies...

    I suggest you google about SL780 front cyl running hot ......quite a bit of info there. Nothing that cant be sorted but you need to know. As for the oil .....might depend on the brand ,and the possibility that someone has fiddled with the oiling in a misguided attempt to stop that front...

    Valve Lubricant

    I used to use a lead substitute in my pinto Capri engine because it doesnt yet have hardened exhaust valve seats . Works well too , without it I lose about a thou of valve clearance per 1000km's. That engine is not in use now .

    I dont buy a lot of spirits ....gin for Mum and a single malt for Dad, so I tend to go for something special , last time I got locally made Stewart Island gin for Mum and again locally made single malt made in Wanaka ....where they live so the big brand names get passed over.
