    wow I thought I was having problems, well what I have done was I HALF BAKED it to begin with. It was leaking out of the top so I just replaced the seals on the piston side, and it worked BUT when I hooked it back up, the leak from the piston was gone, I Put it in place and ran the cylinder up...

    Ok so the tilt/trim was leaking last year out of the piston top, so I replaced the seals in the cap, and put it back on the boat filled the unit, and worked it up and down to remove air- worked fine, hooked it back up to the motor went straight to the bottom...HMMM must be a up or down release...
