.250 /6.4 mm Tab Size UL 310 Nylon Insulated with Insulation Grip & Double Crimp, Funnel Entry

ANCOR supplies a full line of nylon, insulated, tinned copper terminals for the highest quality electrical systems. ANCOR's Marine Gradeā„¢ terminals differ from automotive terminals by being designed for the harsh marine invironment. Our nylon insulators are easy to crimp and will not split. Our barrels are designed to tightly grip the wire with the least effort. Our tinned copper gives the least electrical resistance but the most corrosion protection.

Crimping Instructions
Strip 5/16" if insulation off the wire exposing the conductor. (ANCOR's 702030 Wire Stripper can be adjusted for the required stripping length). To open the tool, close the handles past the ratchet release position which will allow the jaws to open fully. Make sure the terminal is compatible with the wire size you are using. When placing the terminal into the appropriate colorcoded cavity make sure the ring portion of the terminal is parallel to the crimping die. Important! When placing the terminal into the appropriate colorcoded nest make sure the area to be crimped onto the exposed wire strands is opposite the colored dot and on the smooth arc side of the die. The opposite colored dot side of the die with the indent in each cavity is designed to put the second crimp in the insulation portion of the wire.

Close the tool carefully until the jaws grip the terminal lightly and hold it in place without distortion. Insert the properly stripped wire into the terminal allowing the wire to stick out 1/32" beyond the edge of the terminal barrel. Make sure the strands do not extend into the contact area. Holding the wire in place, squeeze the handles past the ratchet release position and allow the jaws to spring open. The crimp is now complete. Check the finished crimp to see that the wire is held firmly in place.

Please be aware that all products have a production or warehouse lead time. This is the number of business days (typically not including the day the product was ordered) that must pass before the item begins the shipping process. Please see the "Ships: In" information located within the main product description to the right of the product image and below the ADD TO CART button for that particular product's "Ships: In" timeframe.

IMPORTANT: Please note that these timeframes are estimates only based on the latest information provided to us by the manufacturer/supplier. Delays in both material, production and shipping timeframes by manufacturers can vary without advanced notice and while we do our best to keep "Ships: In" timeframes up to date we may not always be able to do so due to a variety of factors.

If a product is needed by a specific date we strongly recommend you reach out to our Sales team (1-800-869-1686) to verify shipping timeframes.

Canadian orders please add an additional 14 business days for processing and shipping. Alaska and Hawaii orders please add 1 additional warehouse processing day.
