The A-Series is the product that launched the Polyform story. This all-purpose product, with the signature "blue ropehold" has proven itself in the most adverse conditions. Marking gear used in heavy seas is no easy task. That's why more fishermen use Polyform A-Series than all other buoys combined. You name it, ocean, sea, or river, and the A-Series has been there. Put your trust in Polyform's most versatile and well-known product.

  • Even wall thickness for maximum thickness
  • Heavy duty reinforced ropeholds
  • Polyform's unique vinyl valve system
  • Redesigned ropehold for A-1 through A-7 for improved strength and durability
  • *Dual valve inflation/deflation system for sizes A-5, A-6 & A-7
  • Excellent rafting fender choice

*Two valves - the normal polyform inflation valve with the words "AIR IN" next to it, for easy inflation, and a blue colored valve with the words "AIR OUT" molded into the buoy for easy deflation and storage.

Polyforms Dedication to Quality

Almost five decades of progress have resulted in effective procedures and durable products. Polyform is set apart by its ever evolving unparalleled design and high-quality craftsmanship. A glossier surface gives buoys greater resistance to mearing, or marking up, and a dual valve system makes for easier deflation and storage. Polyform buoys and fenders have been reinforced and improved, modified and specialized. They are are committed to perfecting their product and staying at the front of the marine industry.

Polyform uses an exclusive patented plastic formula that is flexible enough to stretch to many times is size, resulting in an uncommonly strong, shock-absorbing product. They mix this exclusive plastic formula daily, one batch at a time. The resulting platisol liquid is poured into a mold, then spun and rocked while the mold is heated. As the temperature rises, the plastisol becomes solid and continues to be spun as it cures and finally undergoes a cooling down process. Once removed from the mold, the product is inspected and trimmed, and has a valve inserted. Each one is inflated and carefully examined by hand to make certain that every product meets our rigorous standards.
