Recently purchased a Sea Sprite with a 125hp Force, 1989. Can't get the trim to work. Replaced switch, battery and pump motor. Still nothing. Motor worked before installing. Once attached to lower hydraulic pump, the pump motor will not start. Could something be binding it? Any ideas would be appreciated.
1st post.

Is the motor even humming? Do you hear the relays clicking? Have you checked the circuit breaker?

Test light.
Someone at the switch.
Blue is up, green is down.
Hit the switch and test the power to the B or G
Test at the 2 circuit breakers(both terminals on them)reset if needed.

Then test the power out G or B to the motor.

The motor shaft has two flats on the end of it where it goes into the gear in the pump. It has to be aligned correctly with the flats in the hole in the gear. If it's not aligned, and you tighten up the bolts, it will bind up the shaft on the motor and it will not turn.

There is a pop out style breaker on the motor for the trim. Did you check that? It should be pressed in and stay there. Are the relays good? There is one for up and one for down. As pointed out, check for voltage there. Replace if needed. They are basic auto type relays that any auto parts store will have.
