Unfortunately your amplifier probably took a dump. I have two just like it, want them? They're dead too. I'm gonna try a cheap automotive solution tonight using a Ford controller and automotive coil connected to the existing sensor. I'll let you know if it works. Cost would be under fifty bucks. Cheapest amp I see on eBay is over $200 and they list in the $300 range.

<br /><br />Mine is a 72 with a sensor under the flywheel. I had a 70 that had points. I dunno which yours has. If it has points, try cleaning them up. And sometimes the crankshaft rusts where the points rub and wear them down to zero gap. Gap should be .010 on each of two sets of points.
