Unfortunately your amplifier probably took a dump. I have two just like it, want them? They're dead too. I'm gonna try a cheap automotive solution tonight using a Ford controller and automotive coil connected to the existing sensor. I'll let you know if it works. Cost would be under fifty bucks. Cheapest amp I see on eBay is over $200 and they list in the $300 range.

Mine is a 72 with a sensor under the flywheel. I had a 70 that had points. I dunno which yours has. If it has points, try cleaning them up. And sometimes the crankshaft rusts where the points rub and wear them down to zero gap. Gap should be .010 on each of two sets of points.

i dont know if it has points or not i havent had the flywheel off yet but one of the wires from the amplifier goes to a sensor looking thing right under the flywheel where i can see. i guess i dont understand exactly what that amplifier is.. is it the coil or is the a coil somewhere too?

well i lookied into this a little further and i found a really narrow crack that runs all the way down my coil could this maybe be the reason for no spark (hopefully cuz its alot cheaper) i dont know where to test what to see if there is power where it needs to be
