1989 ebbtide dyna trac reserve tank

I have just purchased a 1989 ebbtide dyna trac bass boat it has two fuel tanks which I haven't seen before does anyone know how they switch from the main tank to the reserve also it keeps saying its not getting oil or the oil is low with it being a new to us boat any help on anything you can think of would be appreciated

An outboard 2-cycle engine needs oil, either by injection or by mixing in the fuel. Your boat is telling you the you need to add oil to it;s injection system. If this is not done you will fry the engine. What modle of engine do you have?

So far as two tanks what kind of fuel tanks do you have, external (ones you can see and pick up) or internal (one that are built into the boat) tanks?

The engine is an 1988 evinrude 150 I believe it's called vro where the oil is pumped in separately there was plenty of oil in it I m pretty sure the pump went out while we were on the lake we added oil to the fuel to be on the safe side. The fuel holding tanks are built in to the hull there is a line that runs between the two with a valve we tried the valve but couldn't tell which tank it was pulling from
