1990 evinrude 200hp water valve delete

How’s it going my name is Steve I just did the water valve delete on my 1990 evinrude 200hp with 1989 70 hp thermostat spring and covers and gaskets I started my engine and the water coming out of the telltale is sitting at 110 degrees and at higher rpm is sitting at 98 degrees, does this seem right ?

Also when it idles for about 3 minutes or so the temp rises from 110 to about 125 or so

Ok thank you that helps tremendously I wasn’t sure if it was a dumb question just wasn’t sure if the water coming out was to hot. How hot is too hot for the water coming out of the telltale ?

Is there a forum that covers electrical issues with my Evinrude 200XP?
I replaced the power pack and that fixed my no spark issue but it will only run under starter power with the key in the start position. Any help before I buy a $450 stator or a $270 voltage regulator???
