The Yamaha ,Model T9.9 EXHQ(Electric Start) It difficult to start, usually requiring a shot of starting fluid- After starting and warmed up the motor maintains good rpm. However I cannot idle the motor down in order to shift gears or reduce speed without the motor dying. I can restart the motor at this time, but it is not at an idle speed, but rather a running speed. The carb.,sparkplugs, etc have all been service or replaced. Fresh fuel is being used. I am at a lost on the next step to take. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.
