I just purchased this boat knowing reverse was not working. The engine goes into forward very easy and the motor runs very well. when I try to put it into reverse the cable moves but no reverse. I took the cable off and tried to do it manually and when I got close to reverse,( I never could get it to engage )the engine starts to die out. As soon as I let it go it runs fine again. There is no way manually I could force it into reverse. Any ideas ? Thanks
