1996 Bayliner Jazz, 120 Force engine

Anyone know if the electric fuel pump should shut off after a pound of pressure? Mine runs until gas is coming out of lower carb and filling cylinder #4?

I'm not aware of Force motors that came with electric fuel pump. Most likely what you have is a mod made by a mechanic or previous owner.

I would suspect that the needle valve or seat in the bottom carburetor is bad or the float is not adjusted correctly.

Electric fuel pump that is not connected to a safety switch that shuts it off when the motor is turned off could be a fire hazard.

You have the model/serial #s??
They did use electric pumps on some PWC's.
It's a low pressure 2-3 #
Like PNWBOAT said check the float/needle.
If it's pushing fuel into the cyl. it won't shut down until the fuel's gone.
