2 Days notice to reduce signature images

The images at the bottom of many members' signatures helps to add variety to this place. It also makes this place load sooooooooooooooooooo slow for people with dial-up Internet. I will be forced to turn off the ability to post pics in signatures if everyone does not resize theirs down to under 5k (total not per image) and keep it to under 125 x 600 pixels. Sorry for the ultimatum but we need to clean shop a little. FYI - the software that we use to run these boards highly discourages allowing signature images at all. Thanks for understanding.

We will continue to allow links to pictures within posts. This relates to limiting pictures in peoples signatures that are displayed on the bottom of every one of their posts. One more cast, the image in your signature is a perfect example of the size of image that is appropriate for a signature pic. Again, thanks for understanding and working with us.

Some of the other forums have a script that allows a user the option of turning on or off the sig tags in there personal profile section. Would help dialup.<br />But it does reduce bandwidth usage if they are resized.

I have an image progy that allows brightening/lightening--via log enhancement--<br /><br />I do believe that the bolder holder is lime green--is correct??<br /><br />btw, sure looks good brightened.
