I have a 2005 49cc scooter, the motor of which I think may be a Yamaha. If it isnt, it is very similar. The guy I bought it from was using TCW III 2 stroke oil, which isnt what I want to run.(it isnt synthetic) I have put maybe 100 or so miles on it now, and want to switch to something 100% sythentic, more than likely Amsoil.
Not sure on the best method to make the switch. I was going to drain the oil tank and then fill it up with synthetic.....then change it again after running it awhile. What should I do?
