I've been working on this motor off and on for a few months now. Got the thing running with new coils, plugs, and a little bit of cleaning (side note-scared the $#!^ out of my wife when it fired up  ). Now I'm having an issue with the throttle. Having issues uploading a photo, but here's what it appears.

When at "WOT" on the control arm, the throttle cam is just barely touching the cam follower for the throttle shaft, without actually moving the throttle shaft. It doesn't appear as though the previous owner made any adjustments to it, but I'm thinking that the link just needs a little tweaking. There's about 1/4" of thread showing just outside the yoke, so it looks like there's enough to adjust.

Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated as I'm new to boats and just want some experienced opinions.

Thanks!

Edit: Was able to downsize the pic to upload it. Here's what I tried to describe above. photo(27).jpg
