It is on a stand. Can be started as it was every spring then fogged.Fresh water flushed after every use.I don't have comprssion numbers but seller said all but one cyl were the same with the one it was 2 pounds different. His tech said the compression was very good.My problem is I have a 225 hp on my rig and its to much transom weight, this motor is 100-125 pounds less.I think the 150 would match the hull good just loose some topend witch doesn't bother me

location location location......I see these motors being sold by dealers after they get them in from repowers they did. And the want $3000-$4500 !!!!!!!!!!!! I see them locally in the northeast now and then for $2500 being offered as in great condition. What is YOUR RIG? those 60 degree V loopers "eagle " motors were very good motors. you keep a temp sender and guage on each head, keep it propped right, and decarbon now and then, and they will last and last.

This is a carbed engine. Not a ficht. These 60-degree carb engines were bullet proof in design and reliable. Would be interesting to know the model number. Some of the GL models made more hp than the 150 badge on the cowling. The JL, GL models should make around 165 hp. Keep in mind in addition to hp loss, you will have a loss of cubic inches, which related to torque capability. Since that engine does not have a computer, how do you know the engine hours-boat hour meter? Still, it's under 30 hours of run time each season. Pretty low.

I would question how they came up with a hour figure unless boat had a hour meter it was on. In my area it will bring $2200-3100.....

Check the vapor separator top for cracks or warpage as a air leak here will not allow VRO to suck fuel....

The only time the fuel hose bulb should be hard is when you pump it up the first time you start it each day. Once the fuel pump draws fuel thru the bulb, it will soften. That's normal. The bulb should not collapse on itself, however.
