I have a 90 hp yamaha with a trim problem when on plane I cannot get the trim to stay steady , it seems to be leaking down ,I don't have trim gauge but the rpms and speed changes , I cannot find a leaking seal on any part of the tim cyclinder . How can I add fluid or bleed the system incase of trapped air? Thanks Charles

using your power tilt lift your motor to it highest point. Then go and locate the manual release valve. turning the manual release valve clockwise will all the motor to drop gently. off course do this on dry land.<br />The realease valve can normally be found on the right hand side when looking from behind the boat. It is on the powertilt bracket. You will need a good screwdriver for its adjustment. Go to your local dealer and see if you can get a photo copy of the air bleed procedure. it is very easy and will show you where to top the oil up from. "Do Not Use normal Powersteering fluid)
