Ok unfortunately I didn't do my homework when I bought a used motorguide off of ebay. It now needs a control board that isn't made anymore. I didn't pay much for the trolling motor is there a cheap place to get the digital conversion I've found a price of 380 so far for the kit and have heard people finding it for cheaper or is there a better alternative to locating another trolling motor. Boat is a 89 17' Ranger.

Well I can tell you I wouldn't spend $380 to repair a used motor...My son only paid $513.00 for a new Minn Kota 24 Volt 54 lb thrust. I assume you've already called MotorGuide 920-929-5040, sometimes you can get lucky and find a part still in stock that's no longer made. I wouldn't give up to easily on finding the control board.
